US Sailing & US Powerboating Lessons
Windworks is the only US Sailing & US Powerboating accredited school in the Pacific Northwest to offer certifications through Coastal Passagemaking.
Nav 1: Essential Marine Navigation
(US Sailing Accredited)
The NAV 1 course provides the foundation for you to master electronic and traditional navigation skills and to help to confidently plan and execute voyages, whether inland or coastal waters, day or night, in clear conditions or restricted visibility. This is your entry level navigation course.
Navigation & Piloting of Puget Sound
Learn the art of traditional navigation techniques in this introductory, classroom-based course that focuses on piloting and navigating the inland waterways of the Puget Sound and the Salish Sea. You will learn how to navigate on paper and how to research and confirm your calculations electronically.
Coastal Navigation (US Sailing Accredited)
The Coastal Navigation graduate will have demonstrated the art of traditional navigation techniques and the ability to integrate electronic navigation tools into the navigation plan.
Coastal Passage Making (US Sailing Accredited)
This course will equip you with the skills required to sail for multiple days around the clock.
