Midsummer Madness Flotilla: July 24–26, 2026
We know the open water is calling your name. Summer is in full bloom. And work is a sweaty, toiling experience. Shake off the workweek and join Windworks for our Midsummer Madness Flotilla—a soothing, spectacular 2.5-day weekend escape across the Sound to two of the Pacific Northwest’s absolute best destinations.
We’re taking a fleet of four boats out into the long, golden light of midsummer evenings. The flotilla will be led by Captain Mark Alcazar, owner of Limelight, and known from here to Trinidad for his special rum cocktails and vast sailing experience.
One price covers it all, and the fun is entirely beyond category.
The Itinerary at a Glance
-
Day 1: Blake Island State Park: Some boats will leave at noon on Friday to secure moorage at Blake. Others will follow later. We will escape the hustle with a stop at a marine state park featuring no roads, no crowds, and a pristine wilderness feel. As night falls, you'll experience a front-row, deck-side view of the glittering Seattle skyline with the rugged Olympic Mountains at your back, and a roaring beachside fire.
-
Day 2: Poulsbo ("Little Norway") We'll cruise into Liberty Bay to visit this charming, historic waterfront town, or drop an anchor in Manzinita Bay for lunch. Explore local pubs, take a marina-side stroll, and join the inevitable line at the legendary Sluys’ Bakery for a world-class Viking Cup.
-
Day 3: Enjoy a gorgeous, tactical sail through the narrow and scenic Agate Passage as we make our way back to Seattle.
This is what summer sailing in the Pacific Northwest is all about. Incredible destinations, great company, and unforgettable sunset views from the water.
