Participate in local racing with Windworks!
Join a high-performing crew for regional cruiser-racer events such as the Sloop Tavern Yacht Club and the Snowbird races. We are taking Upbeat and Aoelian to events that are relevant to the cruising community, emphasizing technical excellence, learning and teamwork over "ultra-racing" extremes.

Eligibility
The transition to Upbeat (C&C 110) for the Snowbird Racing Series is earned through a demonstrated commitment to the fundamentals.
All racing participants will be required to attend the US Sailing's Rules of Racing classroom seminar taught by US Sailing instructor Margaret Pommert.
Certification Requirements:

| Spinnaker Performance Sailing | Rigging, flying, jibing, and dousing both symmetrical and asymmetrical spinnakers. |
Experience Requirement: A racing resume including participation in both the Tuesday Capri Series, the Downtown Sailing Series or other sanctioned racing events.
Technical Standards: For insurance and competence reasons, crew must demonstrate proficiency in high-load systems, overlapping headsails, and large-boat winch work.
Sailing Yacht ‘Upbeat’
Upbeat is one of the fastest and most exciting boats in the Windworks fleet. The C&C 110 was designed by Tim Jackett as a serious racer-cruiser — a boat with genuine go-fast credentials that doesn’t ask you to sacrifice comfort to get them. The 2005 model year benefits from C&C’s post-cure epoxy hull construction (introduced in 2002), which keeps her light and stiff.
Sailing Yacht ‘Aeolian’
Voted a top 10 winner in Sail Magazine, the Bavaria 37 is equipped with up-to-date technology to excite the experienced sailor and guarantee maximum control of the yacht. She is designed in a classic timeless style, with lines that promise an outstanding speed potential.
