specialize in teaching people to sail and powerboat with confidence. We take time to
understand your goals, and evaluate any current boating skills that you may have to date.
From there, we use the US SAILING KEELBOAT building block teaching approach which combines
teaching practical skills in a stimulating, safe environment aboard the boats. As you
progress through each certification level, you will be able to sail or powerboat on your
own – on vessels appropriate to that level, and in appropriate weather conditions and
within navigational limits - building confidence at that level. This stair step approach
of “learn, sail, learn, sail” is a proven method of taking you from basic day sailing
or powerboating on 25 foot vessels all the way to cruising a large 47 foot vessel through
the San Juan Islands for a week. And it can all be done at your pace as you progress
