Half-day
- Cost: 20% off full-day rate

- Spring Season: 4 hours, 2 PM to 1 hour before sunset and no later than 6 PM *
- Summer Season: 5 hours, 2 PM to 1 hour before sunset and no later than 8 PM *
- Can be reserved up to 2 hours prior departure time.
- Available to members only.
Full-day
- Winter Season: 9 AM to 1 hour before sunset
- Spring Season: 9 AM to 1 hour before sunset and no later than 6 PM *
- Summer Season: 9 AM to 1 hour before sunset and no later than 8 PM *
- Early morning departure available to qualified members. Arrangements must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure.
- Can be reserved up to 14 days prior to departure date.
Multi-day
- 1 or more consecutive Overnight periods
- Early morning departure available to qualified members. Arrangements must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure.
- Can be reserved up to 180 days prior to departure date.
- Vessel must be docked or at anchor 1 hour prior to sunset *
- Requires BBC or equivalent
* Vessels returned late are subject to a mandatory fine of $150/hour.

Reservation/Cancellation Policy |
Vessels departing from Seattle
- No deposit required to reserve a charter out of our Seattle location except holidays.
- Deposit of 30% required for Holiday reservations and 30 days prior to your charter the remaining balance is due and our system will automatically bill your credit card.
- 7 days prior to your charter the remaining balance is due and our system will automatically bill your credit card.
- For one or two day charters: If you cancel less than 7 days prior to your charter we will retain the full balance unless we are able to rebook your charter dates. If we are able to rebook your charter dates, we will refund whatever part we are able to rebook less a $150 rebooking fee.
- 3-Day or longer charters require 14 days advanced notice of cancellation.
- Cancellations of reservations for holiday weekends require 30 day prior notice.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email or post.
Non-members require a 2-hour skills assessment prior to departure. Checkouts are an assessment of skill and not a guarantee that Guest will be approved to charter the vessel. Checkouts should be scheduled at least 30 days prior to departure.
Vessels departing from Anacortes
- If you must cancel your charter, the following terms will apply - 120 days or more: $200.00 Non-Refundable Booking Fee. 60-119 days: $200.00 Non-Refundable Booking Fee + 30% Reservation Deposit. 0-59 days: $100% of Charter Fees
- Deposit of 30% required for Anacortes reservations and 60 days prior to your charter the remaining balance is due and our system will automatically bill your credit card.

- NON MEMBER has 30 day cancellation on day charters and 60 days on ALL charters from June 30th to September 31 of each year! NO refunds due if cancelled within these time frames. All other dates are 30 days for a day or multi days. Full payment must be made at time of booking.

Skills Assessment |
- New members who did not acquire their certifications at WWSC are required to take a two-hour skills assessment with a WWSC instructor.
- Cost is $195/hour plus the rental cost of the vessel. Cost of the boat will be credited towards your first day charter if you pass our check out requirement. Please note if you fail a minimum (2) hour check out, no refunds will be granted
- Assessments must be scheduled at least three days prior to the first day of charter.
- Assessments are non-refundable.
- Occasionally, exceptions are made, but at the sole discretion of WWSC and its Director of Sailing.

Damage Deposit |
No damage deposit required. See membership contract for details on member responsibility for the vessel insurance deductible. |
Damage deposit required. May be by credit card or check and is due before departure. Returned or destroyed upon successful check-in by Windworks staff at end of trip. Amount ranges from $4,000 to $8,000 depending on vessel. |
Vessel Check-out |
- Vessel check out with Windworks personnel required for every vessel usage. Exceptions apply at the sole discretion of WWSC.
- It is the member's responsibility to notify the Windworks staff of any discrepancies prior to leaving the dock, and to inspect and approve all safety gear, life jackets, vessel systems, holding tank compliance, radio and instruments prior to departure.
- WWSC will back-charge the customer for damage, so it's recommended to inspect the vessel prior to leaving the dock, including photos of the bow and hull.
- Signed membership contract and membership application must be on file to charter a boat.

Vessel Check-in |
Prior to returning the boat, the following
- Complete vessel check-in log (skipper's log).
- Empty waste holding tanks
- Fill fresh water
- Secure vessel
- Inventory gear
- Wash and rinse decks and hull
- Secure battery switch/electrical system
- Connect shore power and confirm it's energized
- Return keys and skippers log to Windworks office
If vessel not left in required condition at check-in, service charges may apply.

Vessel Fitness and Seaworthiness |
Vessels in the Windworks fleet follow a comprehensive maintenance plan, and we make every effort to ensure a trouble-free boating experience but, sometimes, maintenance issues do occur. Windworks handles vessel fitness and seaworthiness issues on a case-by-case basis, and in the event, a vessel is not seaworthy, reserves the right to issue a credit, switch the guest to another boat, or cancel the charter altogether. Windworks makes every effort to ensure secondary boat systems including but not limited to refrigeration, cabin heat, stove, oven and entertainment systems are operational but secondary systems are not guaranteed.

Vessel Modifications |
Members and guests are not allowed to physically modify a chartered vessel including but not limited to:
- Removing or altering dodgers or bimini tops or other parts of the vessel's canvas
- Altering the vessel's rigging

- Refueling vessel $150 plus cost of fuel
- Full holding tank $75
- Fouled holding tank $150 plus labor
- Clogged head $150 plus labor

Pet Charges |
Pets are only allowed onboard the powerboat vessel "Clifford", subject to $350 cleaning fee/fine. Must let Windworks know prior to making the reservation.

Fuel |
- $20 per day flat charge for all Capri 22s
- $35 per day for all cruisers, including Wicked Wind and Magic Wind
- $50 per day for 40' and larger cruisers, and $90 per day for 40' Catamaran, One World, except for trips of 3 days or more for which vessel is filled by Windworks at departure and returned full by the member.
- Power boats must be refueled after trip
- Violation of refueling policy subject to cost of fuel plus a $150 convenience fee.
Powerboaters:
- Power boats must be refueled after trip or subject to $50 fee plus cost of fuel, Clifford and Sunshine.

Windshare |
- Crew list required before departure of a scheduled Windshare
- Cost split evenly between all participating members

Pricing Disclaimer |
We do everything we can to ensure that the prices on our website, email marketing, and other media are correct, and we try to keep our prices constant. Crab Pots, Shrimp Pots & Dive Equipment |
Windworks does not allow crab pots, shrimp pots, or dive tanks and equipment to be transported by or used from it's vessels. Violations are subject to a $250 fee plus possible revocation of membership privileges.

Single Handing |
Windworks does not allow single-handed sailing. All charters must have at least one qualified skipper and an additional passenger who is - at a minimum- capable of using a cell phone or VHF radio.

Coastguard Compliance |
- Windworks requires all "souls" on-board to have a life-jacket. Can provide PFD's and foul-weather gear if needed.
- Each vessel has a maximum number of "souls" allowed per the US Coastguard's regulations. Please plan ahead when arranging crew and guests. Number of "souls" on-board exceeding US Coastguard regulations will result in cancellation of charter reservation by WWSC without refund.

Force Majure |
- Windworks reserves the right to cancel a charter due to adverse weather conditions or any other factor which, in the sole and absolute discretion of Windworks, might adversely affect the safety of the Member and the chartered vessel. This cancellation may be made by Windworks anytime before departure. In such event Windworks will credit any moneys paid by charter guest for said charter to their member account for future use. Such credit shall be the only liability of Windworks.
- Under NO circumstances can members/non members take vessels out when weather forecast is for winds over 25 knots. In the event, a multi-day charter is in progress, and the weather forecast calls for winds over 25 knots day, the charter guest must "wait" out the weather at marina dock NOT mooring buoy until the forecast is favorable winds below.
- Powerboats are not permitted to charter in sustained winds over 20 knots due to their substantial freeboard.
